Martin Gregory spends his professional life at the intersection of two worlds: the gold-standard era of mid-twentieth century British broadcasting and writing offbeat, atmospheric stories. His work is driven by a deep fascination with stories—both the ones he writes, and the ones we’ve almost forgotten.

Martin specialises in the history of vintage British TV, classic radio, and audiobooks. This includes deep-dives into 1960s television (like his definitive companion to Granada’s ‘The Man in Room 17’)

When he isn’t excavating television history, he writes offbeat, psychological thriller novels like ‘Morrison’s Ghost‘, focusing on suspense with a sharp, unconventional edge. Martin has also written for the character Lethbridge-Stewart by Candy Jar Publishing.

Martin lives in Wales (UK) with his brain, ‘Old Spongy’. He is in his mid-thirties, habitually lies about his age, stubbornly clings to an AOL email address, and really needs to stop talking about himself in the ‘third person’.
