If there’s one thing a jam sandwich can’t stand it’s not being appreciated.
Think about it, one minute you’re on a plate, oozing jam, possibly cream and there’s that moment, that single moment when you get to make a hungry mouth water. The anticipation for that first bite hangs tantalizingly close in the air. And then, you’re savagely and wantonly taken – eaten without ceremony. Without care. No time to be savored and enjoyed. It’s over too soon and there is no more.
Yes, if there’s one thing a jam sandwich can’t stand it’s not being appreciated.
Peanut butter sandwiches on the other hand, just want it all to be over as quickly as possible
